The final battle for the title is underway, with four drivers still in contention as they head to Lédenon for the fifth and penultimate round of the 2025 FIA-certified French F4 Championship season.

Located in the south of France, the hilly Nîmes-Lédenon circuit has been hosting FFSA Academy drivers for many years. The event promises to be exciting with a field of 30 cars and many goals to achieve for these young motorsport hopefuls during the three races scheduled on the Gard circuit from 12th to 14th September.
Arthur Dorison and Rayan Caretti have not had their last word
With six podium finishes, including four victories at the Nogaro and Dijon circuits, Alex Munoz has led the overall standings since the start of the season. But with two wins at Spa Francorchamps and no fewer than five 2nd places, Jules Roussel remains a formidable opponent for the current favourite. At Lédenon, two drivers will have one last chance to close the gap and also fight for the title at the final round at Le Mans at the end of September. They are Arthur Dorison, four-time winner of Race 2, who has slightly fewer points than the other two, and Rayan Caretti, who won twice at Magny-Cours in early August.
Ranked behind them in the Championship, four drivers are still aiming for a podium finish in the overall standings, as well as the honorary title of best rookie. They are Louis Iglesias, Rafaël Perard, Malo Bolliet and Guillaume Bouzar. On the podium at Lédenon, the Marseillaise may not be the only anthem to be heard in this highly international competition, as Germany’s Montego Maassen, Monaco’s Mattéo Giaccardi and Japan’s Rintaro Sato have already demonstrated their ability to fight at the front of the field.
Many other Academy members will be vying for the top spots, including the six women competing this season in the highly attractive French Formula 4 Championship: Lisa Billard, Dutch driver Annabelle Brian, Jade Jacquet, Angelina Proenca, Moroccan Sofia Zanfari and Héloïse Goldberg. We will also be following the debut of American Jack Iliffe.
