F4 FRENCH
CHAMPIONSHIP

The FFSA has chosen the new Mygale M21-F4 to offer a revamped Championship. Improvements in performance allow young riders to better prepare for the transition to the higher categories. Safety has been improved in many ways, including the introduction of the halo. Repsol is supplying 100% renewable biofuel to the French F4s.

A 100% FRENCH CAR

The French F4 Championship will be run on brand new 100% French cars that meet the latest safety and performance standards in line with the FIA F4 specifications which impose an identical weight/power ratio.

Among the many advantages of this FIA F4, the drivers of the French F4 Championship will be able to score points towards the super license for F1. The FFSA Academy has chosen to trust the French manufacturer Mygale, one of the market’s world leaders for nearly 30 years.

“The French F4 Championship is a key element of our high-level circuit policy, it has seen the development of many renowned drivers such as Pierre Gasly. Organised through our federal training centre based in Le Mans, our one-design competition is unique. This is the only European championship where all the drivers drive under a common entity like the FFSA Academy, which reconciles affordability and sporting fairness. French F4 continues to build on its success by adopting the new 2nd generation FIA Mygale F4 single-seaters from 2022 onwards, bringing increased performance and safety “.

Nicolas Deschaux,
President of the French Federation of Motor Sport
