The FIA-certified 2025 French F4 Championship is coming to an end. 27 points separate leader Munoz from Roussel. Ranked just behind them, Dorison and Caretti can also climb the rankings. The Le Mans event promises to be exciting…
Located a stone’s throw from the FFSA Academy premises, the Le Mans circuit will host the sixth and final round of the highly international French Formula 4 Championship. The category has not been to the Sarthe region for several years and all the drivers, whether in their first or second year, will start on equal terms at the wheel of identical single-seaters.
Who will succeed Taito Kato?
After fierce battles on the magnificent circuits of Nogaro, Dijon, Spa Francorchamps in Belgium, Magny-Cours and Lédenon, Alex Munoz and Jules Roussel will face each other one last time: first in the all-important Qualifying session, then in each of the three races, at the end of which the name of the 2025 French Champion will be revealed. For the lucky winner, it will be an opportunity to continue their career in the best possible circumstances.
In terms of points, Munoz (207) and Roussel (180) are firmly in the top two places, but Arthur Dorison (145) and Rayan Caretti (137) still have a mathematical chance of winning, albeit a slim one. In any case, these two will approach the race extremely motivated by the idea of finishing on the overall podium of the Championship, knowing that they cannot afford to make any mistakes. Behind them, several drivers are keen to seize every opportunity to finish their season on a high note.
Guillaume Bouzar has just had an excellent meeting at Lédenon, celebrating his first victory. He has therefore moved up to 5th place in the Championship ahead of Rafaël Perard, Germany’s Montego Maassen, Louis Iglesias and Malo Bolliet, the winner of the 2024 Volant Feed Racing. These four drivers are separated by only six points. Like Bouzar, Japan’s Rintaro Sato celebrated his first success on the Gard circuit. He has now joined the top 10, a goal also being pursued by Roméo Leurs and Hugo Herrouin.
The six female drivers competing in 2025 will be there and worth watching: Lisa Billard, Dutch driver Annabelle Brian, Jade Jacquet, Angelina Proenca, Moroccan Sofia Zanfari and Héloïse Goldberg.
From 26th to 28th September, the ACO and the 4,185-metre Bugatti circuit in Le Mans are ready to host the eagerly awaited final round of the French F4 Championship…
