From 19th to 21st June 2026, the FIA-certified French F4 Championship will hold the third of its six rounds of the season at the legendary Spa-Francorchamps circuit in Belgium. A true jewel of world motorsport, the famous “Ardennes toboggan” is one of the most eagerly awaited events on the calendar and once again promises a spectacle of the highest calibre. Guillaume Bouzar will arrive there wearing the leader’s number.
Organised by the FFSA Academy, an international benchmark in the training of young talent, the French F4 Championship continues its mission to identify and support future champions. Many leading figures in motorsport have trained within this unique organisation. The format guarantees exemplary sporting fairness thanks to identical F4 single-seaters, prepared and maintained by mechanics trained at the FFSA Academy, thus allowing young drivers aged 15 and over to fully showcase their talent.
Already four winners in six races
Following two highly instructive rounds at Nogaro and Dijon, an initial pecking order is beginning to emerge. Several drivers have already established themselves as serious contenders for podium finishes and victories, whilst the female drivers are also demonstrating their ability to make their mark. In this highly competitive environment, it will be crucial to score big points before entering the second half of the championship.
With three wins and 100 points to his name, Guillaume Bouzar will be looking to build on his form, particularly against rivals who have already posed problems for him, such as Belgium’s Thibaut Ramaekers (one win at Dijon), Lilian Soares, Hugo Herrouin and Matthéo Dauvergne (winner at Nogaro). American Jack Iliffe continues to go from strength to strength, as does Jules Avril; Oscar Goudchaux has often shown consistency; Japan’s Kota Tsuchihashi got the season off to a positive start at Nogaro; whilst Australia’s Lewis Francis hopes to climb back to the top of the podium as he did at the Easter Cups at the start of the Championship.
Angelina Proenca leads the women’s field
Among the other contenders are no fewer than nine women. Some have been competing on two fronts since the creation of a French Championship specifically for them. Angelina Proenca currently leads the standings. As they are also competing in the F1 Academy, Lisa Billard and Jade Jacquet are unable to score points in this Championship.
Weather conditions could also influence the course of the weekend. Forecasts predict a gradual rise in temperatures, with the mercury likely to exceed 30 degrees by the end of the meeting. This heat could encourage the development of thunderstorms, an additional factor of uncertainty on a track renowned for its rapid weather changes.

Ligier Mygale F4 FIA Generation 2 single-seater, Renault 1.3L Turbo engine, Pirelli tyres. Two new sets of tyres are allocated for the entire competition, to be used from the Qualifying sessions onwards.

Following the 30-minute Free Practice sessions and the 30-minute official Qualifying session, three 30-minute races are held at each meeting, with starting grids determined as follows:
1/ Each driver’s fastest time set in Qualifying for Race 1
2/ Each driver’s fastest time set in Qualifying, with the top 10 drivers’ grid positions reversed, for Race 2
3/ Each driver’s second-fastest time set in Qualifying for Race 3

Races 1 and 3: 25 points for 1st, 18 for 2nd, 15 for 3rd, 12 for 4th, 10 for 5th, 8 for 6th, 6 for 7th, 4 for 8th, 2 for 9th and 1 for 10th
