The first-ever FIA Formula 4 World Cup delivered exactly what the Guia Circuit is known for: a demanding, unpredictable weekend that rewards precision, nerve and proper driver development. In this context, the FFSA Academy’s representatives made a strong impression from start to finish.

The standout performance came from Jules Roussel, who drove a composed and intelligent race. After a clean start, he managed the repeated neutralisations with maturity before reclaiming the lead in the closing laps to take victory. By becoming the first winner of this new global competition, he confirmed the progress shown during his 2025 French F4 season and highlighted the effectiveness of the Academy’s training programme.
Rayan Caretti was another key figure throughout the weekend. Consistently in the leading group, he briefly took control of the race before a late mistake under pressure cost him the result he was aiming for. Still, his performance stands out: strong pace, confident racecraft and clear signs that he can compete at international level.
Newly crowned French F4 Champion Alexandre Munoz endured a more complicated meeting. A difficult qualifying session put him on the back foot, and a pair of mechanical issues forced him to retire from both races. Even so, racing in such a unique environment as Macau marks an important step in his progression, especially in learning to handle street circuits.
The Academy’s line-up also included Rintaro Sato, the Japanese driver who raced the full season in the French championship. Consistent and methodical, he made good use of the experience gained in France to secure a podium finish. His result underlines the Academy’s ability to prepare both French and international drivers within a structured, demanding environment.
Beyond the drivers’ performances, the FFSA Academy was also the operational backbone of this inaugural FIA F4 World Cup, providing the full complement of mechanics, engineers and logistics staff required to run the event. This major commitment covered car preparation, trackside operations and coordination in the pitlane.
In the end, this first edition of the FIA F4 World Cup highlighted the relevance of the FFSA Academy model: a solid system capable of preparing drivers for the international stage and readying them for the unique demands of a venue as selective as Macau. A strong foundation as they continue their careers.
